CELEBRATE
One of our passions is to design tangible solutions in which program participants not only get to co-create, but also play an active role in contributing to sustainable change via a possible revenue stream.
The arts-infused, edutaining program brings participants and beneficiaries together, helps nurture empathy, and builds a sense of community, locally and globally. From inspirational publications to purpose-driven games, books, and applied-art, we value creative offerings that educate and inspire—while being kind to the planet.
If you create eco-friendly educational tools or purposeful objects that make a positive impact in communities, we’d love to hear from you!
CreativeChange: Celebrating Creativity in Making a Positive Difference
Launched in 2004, the Creative Volunteerism for Social Change and Development project—better known as CreativeChange—aims to raise awareness about volunteerism, social responsibility, and the transformative role of the creative sector in global development.
As part of its launch, we conducted a volunteer-led global online study to explore current efforts, challenges, and best practices at the intersection of creativity and development. Responses from over 25 countries were collected, resulting in the free CreativeChange publication, which highlights the work of individuals and organizations using the arts as catalysts for meaningful change.
In collaboration with TakingItGlobal, and the UN Millennium Campaign, we co-facilitated the Vision 2015: Your Future Youth Arts Contest. Young artists were invited to express their hopes, fears, goals, and dreams through visual and multimedia art. Selected works were featured in both online and traveling exhibitions spanning from the U.S. to Nigeria. The traveling showcase presented 50 youth artworks—ranging from photography and painting to soundscapes and short written pieces—curated to spark reflection and action toward a better future.
Beyond exhibitions, CreativeChange hosted interactive workshops and learning series with experts, fostering dialogue on global development challenges and exploring creative, arts-infused solutions.
Over the past decade, CreativeChange was showcased in diverse venues—from international conferences at leading universities to street-facing windows and public libraries—offering visibility to inspiring artists and initiatives across the globe.
Today, the CreativeChange 1.0 publication continues to serve as a meaningful resource—and now a fundraising tool—for our ongoing arts education and development initiatives.
Let’s keep the momentum going—together.
